I introduce myself and the Theremin+ project shortly: extending the rather limited voicing of most Theremins through dynamically variable timbres.
My set consists of the Moog Etherwave Plus with it's extended voice: a modular rig featuring the Make Noise tELHARMONIC and "Pressure Points" interface controlling the mix of the tELHARMONIC's three timbres in a Mutable Instruments Veils VCA. A fourth voice consists of the Harmonic Shift Oscillator by New Systems Instruments. The white noise at the beginning and later chaotic patterns are generated by After Later Audio's Benjolin v2. Thanks to Rob Hordijk! And a shoutout to STEIM with a Cracklebox interlude.
In the second half of my solo set I also play the Haken Audio Continuum Fingerboard, partly in conjunction with the Theremin+synth hybrid.
Marvelous experimental music from this Tel Aviv musician that fuses outré noise with almost folk-like arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 13, 2022
